Pitt Panthers Place First NCWA All-American

The University of Pittsburgh's Chris DeSanctis took 3rd at nationals on March 15 to give the team its first all-American in the NCWA.

This comes in the Panther's first year in the NCWA and only the second year of the program. Pitt sent three wrestlers to Nationals after qualifying Dave Crown (133), Derrick Jusczak (157) and the heavyweight.

DeSanctis started off the tournament with a strong 6-1 victory over the returning runner-up in the weight class, an upset in the tournament.
