Sam Houston Coach Mixes it up in MMA

SHSU wrestling coach E.J. Miranda battled his opponent in the MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) showcase held in the LSC mall area this past weekend in conjunction with the Huntsville 'Death Row' fighting team. The Sam Houston State Wrestling team, which placed sixth in the SouthWest Conference its first year of competition, began practice this week and is scheduled to compete in their first tournament at University of Texas / Arlington this Novemeber.
