Lee University Tackles Patriot Open

The Lee University Wrestling Team will begin the 2008-09 season this weekend at the Patriot Open, hosted by University of the Cumberlands. This will be a good opening tournament with various NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, and NCWA schools. Wrestlers competing are returning NCWA National Qualifiers Joe Jellison (125) and Matt Spies (165). Newcomers Stephen Ward (174) and Chris Jones (197) will have their first taste of college wrestling. Wrestling begins promptly at 10:00am on Saturday.
