SVU Finishes Successful Fall Campaign with Dual Against D-III W&L

Southern Virginia University and NCAA Division III Washington & Lee recently met for a dual in Lexington, Virginia. Highlights included victories by Peter Rose (157) and Spencer Hirt (141) as well as close matches by Peter Hansen (285), Logan Davis (exhibition), and Ahmed Dorghoud (exhibition).

SVU's dual with W&L was only one of several successful competitions for SVU this fall. SVU performed well at the W&L Fall Classic, Dayton Flyer Invitational, and UNC-Pembroke Classic. For example, Brandon Flood (125) and Peter Rose (157) took first at the Dayton Flyer Invitational. Peter Rose also finished second at Pembroke.

The Knights look to build upon their momentum next semester when (among other things) they compete at the Apprentice Builder Invitational and host the MAC Championships.
