Georgia Southern Places 3 at Classic City Championships

Georgia Southern battled injuries the past few weeks and took a limited number of their squad down to Athens, Georgia to compete in the Classic City Championships.Of the five wrestlers participating, three placers came away placers. Colin Evans placed 2nd at 174, Thad Saunds 3rd at 157, and Chris Stewert at 141. All wrestlers had tough brackets with some top competition at all weight classes with many of the brackets holding more than twelve wrestlers per weight class. A good outing even with a limited squad.
