Hudson Valley Adds New Coaching Staff

Mark Burchhardt (Scotia-Glenville) is joining two other former NYS Section 2 standouts Van Fronhofer(Salem) and Joe Uccellini(Tamarac) on the 2010-2011 coaching staff at HVCC. Mark is a 2008 NCWA All-American from HVCC as well as being a former sectional champion.
Returning NCWA All-American and national finalist Ed Backus(Mohawk) is anticipating another great year for the Vikings whose team placed 4th in the NCWA D2 2010 Championships. Backus and the other returning HVCC NCWA All-American Paul Martin(Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) will be leading a strong team of freshmen in their quest to unseat cross-town rival RPI from their spot as NCWA NYS champions and expect to be in the hunt for the team title at both the conference and national levels.
